I’ve worn alot of bikinis in my time and nothing annoys me more than a bikini that’s too tight, which is often the case and why I order a size up (10) to my normal dress size (8). However when I ordered this Grana bikini it was nice to find that it is completely seamless at the edges. Just like your favourite seamless underwear you wear under your bodycon dresses and skirts these bikinis won’t be giving you muffin top! I also got the red one peice which I featured on my instagram here and here. They’re also good if you’re into a little bit more coverage.
All black with accents of gold and beige for the first day of summer. I am in love with this little tote bag with it’s removeable palm tree and tassle, it can make your outfit cute and fun or remove it and it’s perfect for the office. Also, I’m never taking off this pineapple ring and ring choker – the new ‘it’ accessories for summer. That’s why I always love checking out Colette by Colette Hayman because they have the coolest styles at such an affordable price! Also how amazing is this low back halter top, would also look amazing dressed up with a mini skirt or bodycon midi skirt with heels or dressed down with denim cut offs. So many options!
I got to spend the day with three of my favourite girls, Helen, Ash and Kiara for Glassons… we went on a fun road trip up to Palm Beach and got to cruise with this amazing vintage 1950s Chevvy! I had such an amazing time and I never take for granted that I get to do the things I love with the best girls around me!
In this look I’m wearing my fave Glassons denim shorts, a lace racer back bralette and layered over it I’ve got this awesome oversized mesh top. Mesh tees are the biggest things right now, they’re perfect for summer because you can layer over bikinis, bralettes as well as singlet tops and it looks different every time. I have it tied up but it also looks great tucked in or undone just hanging over a pair of mom or skinny jeans and sneakers for a more tom boy look.
So get yourself into Glassons because they have literally every style of clothing you need and you can get a whole outfit for under $100!
Hi Guys, just thought I’d update you on what’s going on in my life: this week is particualry stressful. On the weekend I was too excited to gram and walked into the ocean without looking where I was going and walked onto a rock covered in oysters so I really did a number on my foot and am now hobbling my life away like a 87 y/o grandma. I’m dumb, lesson learnt.
This was a great week for that to happen as I’m moving out of my apartment that I’ve been in for over four years right before I’m going to Bali for two weeks. So needless to say I’m going to be on my feet for the next 3 weeks! Yay for me. Yay for not healing.
The next few days will be full of packing, packing, shooting, packing and moving and unpacking and packing and then flying. I’m usually quite into going to the gym right before I have a tropical getaway however I don’t think I’ll be able to be on my feet for much more of the day so I don’t know how that’s going to pan out…
Despite all of this I’ve realised I have so many amazing friends in my life who have volunteered to help a little ‘ol me pack up, move, drive and just be there for moral as well as physical support. Makes me so happy
So here’s to you guys! *raises non-alcholic glass of something because I’m not drinking right now since I can’t go to the gym and work out*
Just checking in! hope you’re all well and loving life. Thought I’d share these unpublished photos Wes and I took while we were on the Central coast. I love this little series because the beach was almost completely empty and I was actually struggling with catching any light (it was about 6pm) and the wind was gale force. But despite this we still managed to do what we love and do best which is capture photos and enjoy the beach.
Hope you’re all having the best weekend and are ready to wrap up the year!!
I’m just gonna put it out there… I’m a bit bikini obsessed. I love a good quality bikini and that includes the perfect little black one piece bikini that should be staple in everyone’s beach wardrobe. I’m going to talk you through your options and what’s best for your bust shape.
Smaller chest: Your traditionally trained stylist with tell you to go for something with ruffles or bows or something that has embellishment on the chest to accentuate your bust. To me that’s fine, but personally I am a much more minimal bikini wearer and I don’t ever wear bows or frills on anything. I would embrace not having a ridiculous amount of cleavage and opt for a super low cut bikini like this one which has padding in it. The beauty of not having out there cleavage means you can get away with this style without looking slutty. Another alternative is a style with a alot of panel detailing on the bust. Super fashion forward.
Bigger Chest: I’d say I fall into this category (being a DD) and although I love the high neck style it actually doesn’t make your chest look smaller or flatter your bust, but in fact tends to make it look bigger with more of a monoboob vibe. Unless that’s the look you’re going for then I’d suggest a low cut style, but not too low cut (because from experience your boobs fall right out!). I love backless styles and if you don’t feel like you need the ‘support’ then give this style a go but there are also plenty of one-piece styles that have the in-built bra with a much more conservative back.
Somewhere in between: You’re the babes that can get away with any of the above. Try a balconette style or one of these sexy front zip bikinis which you can adjust to whatever mood you’re in <insert winky face>
I’m officially throwing out all of my low-waisted pants. Why was the year 2000 riddled with them?! I get it, Christina looked hot but they’re not actually flattering in any way, shape or form. They cut your body at your widest point (your hips) which just makes your body and legs look short.
The sad truth is that that trend will probably come back around in a couple years but until then I’m going to actually dress for my body type and that’s wearing high rise pants like these ones. Nothing looks better than accentuating the smallest part of your waist and showing off your curves in the right way. I’ve collaborated with Tobi to put this look together. It’s a funky crop top, palazzo pant number which is casual and head turning at the same time.
The ribbed crop with hook and eyelets are an homage to the sporty scene I love to tap into as well as adding a sexy lingerie feel to it with the eyelets. You can wear this crop with denim, a bomber and sneakers for a more casual vibe or these pants with a strapless bodice to dress it up or jersey t-shirt to dress it down.
Also, the tiny wallet clutch is making a lot of appearances. I love that is perfectly fits my iPhone 6S+, keys and cards! I love mini bags, the smaller the better! They’re so cute and so light. I rarely have big bags as I find I always put stuff I don’t actually need in it… spare sneakers in case you want to go running? sure. Candle in case you want to set the mood? Why not. Typewriter? in you go. #classicme
Mixing your sporty pieces with your non-sporty pieces (like denim) is what I’m all about right now. Think Hailey Baldwin and Kendall. This bomber is so dope, it’s a neat collab between illustrator Careuax and Puma, it’s fully reversible and I’ve been wearing it way more than I thought I would. It’s super warm too, I’m talking warm like a snow jacket and it’s perfect to layer over your sporty crop top for when you’re heading to the gym or just being a boss.
These mom jeans are great for balancing out the tiny-ness of the crop top, if you were to wear skinny jeans it might look slightly hoochie or maybe it’s just me that probably wouldn’t be able to pull it off. I also find that mom jeans or boyfriend jeans aren’t so tight at the waistline so you generally don’t have to deal with ‘muffin top’ yes all girls have this! even the ‘skinny’ ones. LOL. But make sure you keep the casual, sporty vibes with sneakers, anything else will look confusing.
Perched on my face is the best fitting pair of sunnies ever. They’re especially designed with a elevated fit that sit on the bridge of your nose perfectly. This little knitted top and skirt number paired back with these slightly higher ankle boots are perfect for that transition out of winter season which I’m welcoming with open arms. I am loving the retro design on the sweater and fringing on the denim skirt. It’s a nice contrast and juxtaposition which we sometimes need in an outfit.
Cami and jeans are I’d say a pretty basic look and it’s easy to achieve this look with the basics already in your wardrobe. The only way I’ve made this look different to almost all of my other cami/ jeans looks is by layering accessories. You’ll notice they’re not even chunky accessories but rather a lot of delicate pieces that make up a look that seems put together but messy at the same time (in a good way). Try experimenting with layering fine necklaces, midi rings and mixing metals & even adding some corded leather.
