In my last post I spoke about what I did day to day and vaguely what I’ve done to get to where I am today. I got a huge response via comments and emails and I’m really stoked I shared it. This is honestly why I got into this industry in the first place, to help out those around me – build them up and build the community. I love the blogosphere and the friends I’ve made along the way.
In addition to my last post another way I believe you’ll gain traction through your blog or to get into the industry is by networking. You need to engage with your audience, other bloggers and with those around you. The honest truth is that likes are free - why are people holding onto them like they’re currency? I don’t see the point in being stingy when it comes to liking a pic, it can make someone’s day and I mentioned before that it shouldn’t be about competing with one another but building each other up. This is a simple but necessary mentality I hope that this generation can grasp a hold of.
Even better is that it’s the middle of winter and I’m wearing a romper on the beach – didn’t even have to photoshop goosebumps out because it was actually warm. I love Sydney. <insert grateful hands emoji>
