I bought this basic grey marle tee from Urban Outfitters years ago – it has a super deep V neck to show off you bralettes, back when strappy bralettes were a huge thing. Now off the shoulder tops are what everybody’s after so I just engineered it as so.
Although this was one of my looks for Fashion Week I never like to be super dressy hence why I paired the boots, skirt and neckpiece with a basic tee which I knotted up at the front to add the casual element.
My last look for Fashion Week Sydney wearing an embroidered mesh skirt and peplum belt with a cape top. I had such a wonderful experience at MBFWA this year meeting a bunch of new bloggers whom had come from out of town for the spectacle. I love that you know everyone from instagram but kind of forget that there’s a person behind the 9×9 grid with a seemingly much different personality than their online one.
Everyone was so lovely & friendly, and what I would love to contribute to this blogging world is gathering a community of girls (and boys) who are there to lift each other and support each other rather than bitching and competing against each other. I believe everyone has their own race to run & their own journey towards their own goals so there’s no reason to bring other people down to get there. I find this is a ripe misconception the fashion industry has, and although it definitely DOES exist, I hope not to surround myself with said persons and I hope you never find yourself in their close circle of friends.
Surround yourself will people that will only encourage & bring you up & make you a better person and do the same.
Had an amazing day at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week wearing stripe skirt suit from Cooper St and unashamedly contributing to the sea of lace up heels. The flurry of bloggers, models, editors, contributors and fashion people of the likes were a show in itself. I love seeing what people put together and their take on the current trends, or whatever trend they are trying to start.
