Spent the day meeting up with some amazing Melbourne bloggers today, such as What You Want Blog, Two Halves and Twice Blessed Bloggers for some (surprise surprise) coffee, brunch, lunch and dinner, taking photos and hitting up shows. All in all a very productive day. I never thought that talking about blogging, bloggers and the difference with Melbourne and Sydney bloggers could encompass so much time but it does, and apparently I and every other blogger I’m with can keep talking about it non-stop 24/7. I’m thinking this is what it’s like when guys talk about sports. I finally get it.
In this look I’ve jazzed up this LBD with a long line faux fur vest because the weather was weird today. Literally 4 seasons in a day type thing in Melbourne. Overcast – light rain – sunny – more rain – tornado – sunny.
A very sweet and springy look today in my Rollas dress, a dress that’s bound to fit you perfectly and show off all the nice parts of your body ie. your décolletage and shoulders. An easy head turner from experience haha.
I’ve been fighting off a weird flu/ congestion, throat swelling type fever for the last 11 days and I’m proud to say I’m finally on the mend. Not 100% but who knows maybe I would be if my incessant need to keep working, go to the gym, shoot looks and sit in the sun wasn’t at the back of my mind forcing me to get out and do those things. I’m not good at staying in bed and sleeping. productivity > means. A good and/or bad way to live life? Who knows.
I hope you all have an AMAZING Christmas! I definitely did, my sister and I cooked up a huge feast for our family for lunch. After we ate oversized portions, we opened presents and then everyone kind of just fell asleep all over the house. Talk about a perfect Christmas day haha! Today I’ll be watching the Hobbit with my family – I am so excited you do not even know.
In this look, I feel it’s perfect for a Sydney summer… as you all know I have a fondness to cute crops & high rise shorts. What’s new. However, these pieces are so cute as the crop has lace and a gorgeous sweetheart neck detail and the shorts are lilac purple organza and the colours shimmy in the sun.
Crop top from Paint it Red, shorts from Staple the Label, sunnies from MinkPink, clutch from Hello Parry and shoes from Windsor Smith.
I know I seem like a big kid sometimes but I swear I’m a 23 year old adult. Who am I kidding. I just realised writing this sentence that I’m 23 and I need to grow up. Buuuut what’s the fun in that. I like Daisies.
I designed this dress because I am a huge fan of quirky, bright prints, short skirts & nice tailoring. My bodycon dress phase is kind of all over (for now). I think a fitted shift is the next new thing.
I am loving these mesh t-shirts (Similar styling here) they’re a great investment for summer, maybe it’s a subliminal nod into the NBA season? This stylestalker tee is just rad though. Here I’ve worn it back with these stylestalker perforated leather look shorts, Miu Miu top handle & Spurr heels. Oh and please don’t judge me on my lazy eyes here – I’m just gonna go ahead and blame the haze & glare which restricted me on perfecting my ‘smize’… Sorry Tyra haha
If you follow the blog you’ll probably notice I have a small/ medium sized/ large infatuation with daisies (Mod Rock, Cat Attack, Lazy Daisy & Let it Rain). I wouldn’t even say it’s my favourite flower, I just like them on clothes. But is that really a bad thing?
Wearing Oasis Daisy Dress by Atmos&Here, Celine knock offs from Siren shoes, sunnies & bag from MINKPINK (bag was a sample sale one off), hat from Sportsgirl.
I spent the weekend doing next to nothing – I hung out by the beach, climbed rocks & got sandy in the wind and in the evening I took out this gorgeous dress. The next thing I did was watching pretty much the entire season 1 of Game of Thrones. I ate alot of chocolate too.
What I love about The Embers Dress by Cameo the Label here is the neoprene skirt matched back with the organza and mesh – it’s like a sports luxe outfit but not because of it’s gorgeous floral mirror print & sexy sheer but not too revealing top & t-shirt neckline. It’s playing on with the basketball tee trend which is out at the moment but they’ve really taken a risk with the wide mesh – oh wowowow… I just can’t get over the design. I’ve matched it back with these Ducros Cuff Heels in bone by Spurr, I love this colour as it’s so versatile – not too fleshy and not too white.
I am a complete playsuit fanatic, despite the fact that they’re beyond inconvenient to wear when you need to pee. Nonetheless, I love them & I’m so excited to show you this embroidered organza Operator Romper by Cameo The Label styled back with little lace black bralette from Urban Outfitters, cat eye sunnies for Asos & my dove print heels.
Hey all – what a gorgeous Sydney weekend we had! – I know I mention the weather alot like a boring, awkward acquaintance you talk to in the lift but I’m seriously so chuffed I didn’t spend all Winter is meltons. I love the print on this romper; classy, elegant with a hint of fun & youthfulness to it. The cut up detail on the sides makes it very flattering for the short-ish legs I have. Oh and it has pockets – who doesn’t love pockets!
Wearing Finder’s Keepers Baxter playsuit, Karen Walker sunnies and my Atmos&here Harper cut out boots.
