I don’t wear ballet flats – there’s something about them that make me look & feel too young. However, if they have a point like these JCs then that’s a different story. Points on shoes elongate the leg and add an instant ‘maturity’ about a person. I particularly love the cut outs on the side. I’ve paired it with this underwater print tee because as an Aussie girl I love the sand, the surf and the occasional snorkel – I’ve never seen anything more beautiful than the Great Barrier Reef so I love that this print has captured that.

I love lace, I love white, I love cut outs and I love fatty dresses so I can eat as much cake as I wan’t without the food baby. Hence this perfect dress haha. Maybe I’m bias because I helped create this piece but seriously, it’s so cute.
I didn’t wear heels with this one because it’s already so ‘fancy’ with the lace organza and what not so I dressed it down with my Mimco pointy loafer flats, MINKPINK sunnies and Swarovski crystal earrings.

I don’t know about you but some days I really dress according to my mood, some days I’m all black, the next I’m in hot pink mixed with animal print on top of florals with electric blue heels – today I’m in an undefinable mood (maybe that’s a cop out cause I can’t think of one right now!) Black and white styling looks strong and although it is currently ‘trendy’, if you wear it well – it is a style, not a fleeting trend.
Both tops hand-me-downs from my old housemate when she moved out (bless), actually I think the shirt is from Yarra Trail (never dis a good men’s shirt!) denim cut offs by Wrangler, flats by Necessary clothing, small playa watch by Nixon, George Jensen necklace and Mimco chain bracelet.
