Some brands just know how to re-market themselves and slay it. To me it looks like every ‘it girl’ and influencer is wearing Tommy! with obviously Gigi leading the charge I kind of sort of definitely had to jump on board. Their wicked styles like this red denim jacket and mesh tee are so on trend right now it hurts.
One of my favourite looks for Fashion Week last week was this take on check suits swapping out check pants for a mini dress and a check blazer for a trench. I’ve femme’d it up by adding a Gucci belt bag (check here to see my unboxing and other way I’ve styled it) and toughened it up by adding black booties.
I like to call my style somewhere in between androgynous and feminine.
Well helloooo, The Iconic! We meet again. If you’re an OG follower you’d know I started my career in Fashion Design. I got a gig at The Iconic in 2011 as a design assistant for their in house labels which I helped grow and create and then worked my way up as designer in their start up phase! I then went on to be a designer for some other labels until I slowly worked my way into blogging full time in 2015!
So here we are now – The Iconic has asked me to be a part of their influencer campaign for Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, I’m in an actual dream state that something can come so full circle. I love The Iconic and I love that they’re adding premium ranges into their product list so I’m so happy to be a part of this! And for Fashion Week so no less, what a dream come true!
Thank you to The Iconic, without your help in the start I wouldn’t be here today, literally!
Everytime I post a blog about Triangl Bikinis I get a lot of readers because I think they want to know my opinion on the style. These ones are gorgeous – the blue is VERY brilliant and looks amazing on, if you’re not a super bright bikini wearer this is probably not for you, but if you are… you’ll love these!
The fit is always amazing, I’m wearing a medium in bottoms and small in the top. The cheeky cut bottom is soo much better (imo) than the full coverage but I guess it’s all dependant on your personal style! I’ve noticed they have now high cut bikini bottoms so I definitely need to get myself a pair of them because those styles/ cuts suit me better than straight across the hips styles like these… I have wide hips! Let me know if you want me to get a pair of those to review.
Ultimately, for the price of bikinis these days… $97 is worth it… I don’t see the fabric or quality of this bikini getting ruined anytime soon and there’s so much good support and it’s super flattering.
If you’re like me you woke up on Saturday morning to an influx of glitter, short shorts, maxi dresses, braids, denim, crochet and wanderlust over everybody at Palm Springs and Coachella. I was so inspired by the scenery I told Wes we should try shoot at this cactus location I found a few months back, I was half joking but Wes being Wes he was in the area and always keen as usual! What a legend!
So I put my very last minute “Coachella” outfit together and we somehow made it work. I even fooled people on instagram and tagged Palm Springs even though I made it pretty clear in my caption that I wasn’t at Coachella haha.
I did however spend over and hour last night watching Beyonce’s live stream performance on YouTube and I felt like I was there, in the comfort of my own home haha. LOVED IT! What an imaginative and original performance. She’s truely one of the best performers out there, if not the best.
Who wore your favourite outfit at Coachella? I want to do a round up of my favourite looks!
The belt bag, fanny pack, bum bag, whatever you may wanna call it is back, baby! But for how long? Who really knows, it’s like bitcoin… gonna be around forever but won’t always be in it’s peak… but I’d say it’s just about to hit it’s peak veeeryyyy soon with Coachella around the corner and numerous other festivals and hands free events coming up.
I’m going to admit that it’s not something my boyfriend has adapted to much but he also doesn’t like flares so I take his opinion with a grain of salt… and in this day and age we shouldn’t be dressing for boys, we should dress for ourselves and what makes us happy. And what makes me happiest. And what makes me happy is an awesome bag that fits my iphone and keys and if you’re going away for a weekend or something just take the weekender with you too!
Introducing to you the world’s comfiest mom jeans from A Brand. I’ve been in the A squad since 2015 and I’m trying my hardest not to be bias, the only other jeans I wear to death that resemble these are the Levi Wedgie Straight Jeans. Between these the Levi’s I can comfortably always have a perfect pair of washed black mom jeans on hand (if one is in the wash or something) the difference being the Levi’s jeans are slightly thinner in weight but not in a bad way and they are about 1 inch shorter than the A brand jeans and unhemmed.
Whichever one you decide on wearing I can guarantee you won’t regret your purchase! They will last a lifetime and the style’s proving it won’t be going out of fashion any time soon.
Sometimes you’ve just gotta run around chasing sunflowers and feeling cute in check pants and a pink jacket. If you haven’t noticed yet… checkered pants are all the rage! I went for a monotone kind of look with the blushes, whites and beige so the outfit wasn’t too ‘loud’ with anything too contrasty ie. if you were to wear a black boot and black jacket. If you want to look cute, yet subtle, but mainly cute try an outfit of all similar tones like this one. Makes wearing light coloured and printed pants more wearable.
Oh and these sunnies are from Sloane and I have a cheeky 40% discount for you the code is JESSIE40 – I’m loving their new slim line style.
A little gold bling bling and detailing on the beach is a very welcome turn to a lot plainer styles I’ve been sporting lately. This is a gorgeous olive set, I got it true to size (small) when I usually get a size medium in bikinis because I don’t like anything too loose. The fabric is not very thick so it’s not too tight, so no need to go up a size if you’re like me and get up a size in bikinis!
