The life of a fashion designer is amazing – if I do say so myself – having a vision for something, envisaging how it’s going to be styled back with what, how it’s suppose to fall, it’s textures, it’s colours, what response, what feelings it’s going to evoke from someone. I love seeing the fruit, the finished product of something you’ve designed, created – that’s what gets my juices flowing. So naturally I loved the idea of designing my own bikini through Kini Swimwear because they manage all the annoying stuff like production lines, costings, manufacturing, trims and fabric sourcing. You just click the buttons on which things you like; shape, colour, size, print and then 2 weeks later you get the perfect bikini delivered to your door.
I designed and styled my nautical theme kini bikini back with a pair of white shorties from A-brand and classic Ray-ban Aviators and by chance Jock and I found this abandoned boat at a secluded beach we hiked to. Cute little thing. And yes, that’s a broken window, and yes the water police came about 30 minutes later and towed the boat away. Happy days!
