It’s been cold for one week here in Sydney so I already need a summer vacay… but where to?! Until then I’m just going to keep dropping the bikini swim pics I never got around to sharing over summer starting with this gorgeous Seafolly number. I love the lace and stripes, very chic and a good coverage for those who don’t want anything too skimpy.
I’m not usually one to embrace the bohemian style but if there’s one brand that can segway me into it it’s Camilla. The best thing about this brand is that almost everything is transformable, a dress can become a top and a vest can become a dress, you’re never wearing the same thing twice and it’s amazing.
As you can see I’ve teamed the dress and vest which I styled off shoulder with my black leather jacket and black OTK boots for winter and to ‘toughen’ up the look & make it a little more city I included my Balenciaga clutch. This is the look I wore to the Camilla preview on the Seadeck for Fashion Week and the show did not disappoint. The African drummers amongst the models, the cutest kids models, the choir, and dancers was a spectacle only Camilla could pull off… on a boat! Well done Camilla I can’t wait to Jamba Jamba with you again soon!
It’s not a secret that I’m a sucker for a little bikini and I loved this tangerine/ coral number from Beginning boutique. The tiny straps are perfect for tanning (not that my fake tan isn’t enough). Also, because it’s creeping into winter I’m not actually going into the water, instead I’m also faking that and spraying my locks with sea salt spray! Something I do daily whether the beach is involved or not to add texture to my naturally straight hair.
I bought this basic grey marle tee from Urban Outfitters years ago – it has a super deep V neck to show off you bralettes, back when strappy bralettes were a huge thing. Now off the shoulder tops are what everybody’s after so I just engineered it as so.
Although this was one of my looks for Fashion Week I never like to be super dressy hence why I paired the boots, skirt and neckpiece with a basic tee which I knotted up at the front to add the casual element.
And she’s back at it again with the over the knee boots!! I love that these boots have the gorgeous lace up detailing on the back, matched back with the colour it looks bohemian and chic. However, me being me I’m not hugely bohemian and the best I could incorporate the boho vibes is this frayed chambray hem shirt from A brand hanging down the back mixed with slouchy knitwear from MLM. A perfect look for Fashion Week when you don’t want to look too serious and don’t want to blend in with all the black & flares
Loving this head to toe nude/ gold/ tan look with accents of shimmer and shine by Denisse M Vera. What a talented and gorgeous look she’s put together for me for the first night of Fashion Week! Tonight’s Toni Maticevski show was the perfect opener to the week, the event space was enormous, the stage was glowing white and the clothes were exceptional. Can’t wait to see what the rest of the week has in store!
Little black boots and a midi dress – my favourite pretty/ grunge combo. It’s never a bad time to stock up on dresses & Lyst has a really awesome selection with great brands. My fave style at the moment are midis, they’re that length that can be chic and not too slutty, dressed up or down. You can wear this style with a pair of heels or even with a tee underneath to make it even more casual.
A white shirt, black jeans and black boots are really a staple in anyone’s wardrobe, yeah? But I’ve amped it up in this look with this amazing August Street white shirt, it has two layers so you can wear the inside layer tucked in or out while there’s length in the back to keep it smart but casual. I’ve also lifted the boots game with these freakishly comfortable OTK boots from Siren. I wore them to dinner two nights in a row just to test them out, and I live in the city so if I’m going out I have to walk and I was walking a minimum of 15 minutes each way and I swear they’re the comfiest boots I’ve ever stomped in. The leather might need a couple wears to soften up but I think it’s worth it.
So I’m thinking I have a penchant for all white covered in grey with hints of black as seen in my other post here. At least I’m consistent? I love this look, it’s so simple and effective. I don’t know why but white jeans always seem to turn heads. Invest in a pair but I warn you DO NOT wear them over a fake tan. smh.
I’ve had alot of people ask me where I get my choker necklaces from and if you’ve been reading my previous posts you’ll know I’ve been a little DIY savvy and made my own out of ribbons but I’ve found a few, very inexpensive options online if you’d rather some a little more fun
